1. About This Service 本サービスについて

Goemon Kanji Name Art (the "Service") is a creative art service that suggests Japanese kanji character combinations based on the phonetic sound and meaning of a name you provide. The resulting designs can be turned into physical products (t-shirts, mugs, art prints, stickers) through our Zazzle store.

Goemon Kanji Name Art（以下「本サービス」）は、ユーザーが入力した名前の音と意味に基づき、日本語の漢字の組み合わせを創作的に提案するアートサービスです。生成されたデザインは、当店の Zazzle ストアを通じてTシャツ・マグカップ・アートプリント・ステッカー等の商品として購入いただけます。

2. Nature of Our Designs デザインの性質について（重要）

Please understand the following before you order:

• Creative interpretation, not translation. Kanji chosen by our system are phonetic renderings — an artistic approximation of how your name might be written in kanji. They are not an official translation and would not be recognized as a legal Japanese name.
• Kanji have multiple readings. A single kanji can often be read several different ways in Japanese, and even native Japanese speakers regularly encounter kanji they aren't sure how to read, especially in names. The pronunciation shown on our results page is one thoughtful interpretation, but is not the only possible reading of those characters.
• Meanings are traditional associations, not fixed definitions. The meanings we display for each kanji reflect its common cultural associations. In everyday Japanese, meaning is often shaped by context.
• We use the "Hear it" audio feature for a reason. Please listen to the pronunciation and confirm it sounds like your name before ordering. We provide a "Fix pronunciation" tool for adjustments.

・創作的な当て字であり、翻訳ではありません。提案される漢字は音写であり、正式な翻訳や戸籍上の日本名として通用するものではありません。
・漢字には複数の読み方があります。一つの漢字が複数の読みを持つことは日常的で、日本人でも初見の名前の漢字を読み間違えることは珍しくありません。表示される読みは熟慮された一つの解釈であり、唯一の正解ではありません。
・意味は伝統的な連想であり、固定的な定義ではありません。表示される意味は文化的な連想を示すもので、文脈により変わります。
・「Hear it」の音声機能をぜひご利用ください。ご注文前に発音を確認し、必要に応じて「Fix pronunciation」で調整をお願いします。

3. Cultural Respect 日本文化への敬意

This Service is offered as an artistic tribute to the beauty of kanji and Japanese calligraphy. It is not intended to represent traditional Japanese naming conventions — which are rooted in family history, generational patterns, and cultural context that cannot be captured by phonetic conversion. If you are seeking a legally recognized Japanese name or advice on Japanese naming practices, please consult qualified professionals or Japanese cultural resources.

本サービスは、漢字と書道の美しさへの芸術的な敬意として提供されています。日本の伝統的な命名慣行（家系・世代・文化的背景に根ざす）を代表するものではなく、音写では捉えきれない領域です。法的に認められる日本名や日本の命名慣行についての助言をお求めの場合は、専門家や日本文化の情報源にご相談ください。

4. Purchases and Refunds ご購入と返金について

All purchases are processed, produced, and shipped by Zazzle, Inc. through the jp_shop_goemon store. Payment, order fulfillment, shipping, taxes, and returns are governed by Zazzle's own policies and User Agreement. Please review them before purchasing.

Because designs are created based on the sound of your name as you confirm it, we cannot offer refunds for dissatisfaction with the pronunciation or meaning of the kanji chosen — please use the "Hear it" and "Fix pronunciation" features to confirm before ordering. Refunds for product defects, shipping issues, or production errors follow Zazzle's policies.

ご購入・製造・配送はすべて Zazzle, Inc. が「jp_shop_goemon」ストアを通じて行います。決済・注文履行・配送・税金・返品はZazzleの規約に従います。ご購入前にご確認ください。

デザインはお客様ご自身が確認した発音に基づいて作成されるため、選ばれた漢字の読みや意味へのご不満を理由とした返金には対応できません。ご注文前に「Hear it」と「Fix pronunciation」で必ず確認をお願いします。商品不良・配送不良・製造ミスによる返金はZazzleの規定に従います。

5. Your Design, Your Use 生成デザインの利用について

The kanji combination generated for your name is yours to use for personal purposes and to purchase merchandise through our Zazzle store. Commercial resale of the generated design as a standalone product, or use of our Service to generate designs at scale for third parties, is not permitted without prior written agreement.

The underlying dictionaries, algorithms, rendering system, and artwork templates that make up this Service remain the intellectual property of Goemon Kanji Name Art.

お客様の名前から生成された漢字の組み合わせは、個人利用および当店の Zazzle ストアでの商品購入にご自由にお使いいただけます。生成されたデザインを単体として商業的に転売する行為、または本サービスを利用して第三者向けに大量にデザインを生成する行為は、事前の書面による合意なく行うことはできません。

本サービスの基盤となる辞書、アルゴリズム、レンダリングシステム、およびアートワーク・テンプレートの知的財産権は Goemon Kanji Name Art に帰属します。

6. Prohibited Uses 禁止事項

• Automated scraping, mass querying, or reverse-engineering of our dictionaries or algorithms
• Submitting content that infringes on trademarks, copyrights, or personality rights of others (including well-known brand names or fictional character names for commercial products)
• Using the Service to create designs intended to defame, harass, or offend individuals or groups
• Removing, altering, or bypassing the SAMPLE watermark on preview images, or attempting to obtain high-resolution files without authorization

・辞書やアルゴリズムの自動スクレイピング、大量クエリ、リバースエンジニアリング
・第三者の商標・著作権・人格権を侵害する内容の投入（商用目的での著名ブランド名・架空キャラクター名を含む）
・個人や団体を中傷・嫌がらせ・侮辱する意図でのデザイン作成
・プレビュー画像の SAMPLE 透かしの除去・改変・回避、または権限なく高解像度ファイルを取得する試み

7. Disclaimer of Warranties 保証の否認

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of pronunciations or meanings, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

本サービスは「現状有姿（as is）」および「提供可能な範囲（as available）」で提供され、明示・黙示を問わずいかなる保証も行いません。適用法が許す最大限の範囲で、商品性、特定目的への適合性、発音・意味の正確性、非侵害性、および中断・エラーのない動作を含む、あらゆる保証を否認します。

8. Limitation of Liability 責任の制限

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Goemon Kanji Name Art shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service or products purchased through it. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim, or JPY 5,000, whichever is lower.

適用法が許す最大限の範囲で、Goemon Kanji Name Art は本サービスまたは本サービスを通じて購入された商品に関連する間接的・偶発的・特別・結果的・懲罰的損害について責任を負いません。本サービスから生じるいかなる請求についても、当方の総責任額は、当該請求の原因となった特定商品についてお客様が支払った金額、または5,000円のいずれか低い金額を上限とします。

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction 準拠法および管轄

These Terms of Use and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.

本利用規約および本サービスに関連する紛争は、法の抵触に関する原則にかかわらず、日本法に準拠し、これに従って解釈されます。紛争が生じた場合は、東京地方裁判所を第一審の専属的合意管轄裁判所とします。

10. Changes to These Terms 規約の変更

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

本規約は随時更新することがあります。重要な変更はページ上部の「最終更新日」に反映されます。変更後も本サービスの利用を継続された場合、更新後の規約に同意したものとみなします。
